Dr. Freddie Contreras received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 from Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in June, 1981 from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. From June 1981 to June 1982, Dr. Contreras did an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. After completing his general surgery internship, Dr. Contreras attended a five year neurosurgery residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas, from June 1982 to June 1987. Dr. Contreras became Board Certified in 1990. Dr. Contreras joined Neurosurgical Associates Of Texarkana in 1987.
Dr. Lee Buono received a Bachelor of Neurobiology in 1993 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1997. Dr. Buono attended a five year residency program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey from 1997 to 2003. Dr. Lee Buono joined Neurosurgical Association Of Texarkana in 2004. Dr. Lee Buono became Board Certified in December 2006.
Dr. Brett Dietze received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1982 and a Master of Clinical Gerontology in 1990 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas where he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in June 1994. From June 1994 to June 1995, Dr. Dietze attended an internship program in general surgery at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing his general surgery internship, Dr. Dietze attended a five year neurosurgery residency program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Dietze became Board Certified in 2004. Dr. Dietze joined Neurosurgical Associates Of Texarkana in 2000.
